I was so enamoured by how Macau was told through the eyes of the lead character, Five Cuevas, that I went to the author’s blog to browse through her old entries about Macau.Īll’s Fair in Blog and War was written by Chrissie Peria, one of my all-time favorite bloggers. From walking down the streets full of food stalls to hey, who knows, maybe even bungee jumping, it made me see Macau from a different lens. I had a better appreciation of Macau after reading All’s Fair in Blog and War, and man, now I want to go back. I’ve only been to Macau once, and I wish this book had existed before my trip (which was more than 5 years ago). What I loved best about this book was how Macau came to life for me. But how it’s going to happen, I’ll let you discover that! Since it’s a love story, you probably know what’s going to happen. It had all the elements needed for an enjoyable quick read: romance, travel, food and best of all, good writing. I couldn’t put the book down! It’s a contemporary romance novella set in Macau, about a pair of feuding travel bloggers. All’s Fair in Blog and War is a fun, lighthearted read that I truly enjoyed in just 2 days.
